Magruder Branch Stream Valley Park

The Upper Magruder Branch (231 acres) from Damascus Recreational Park north to Valley Park Drive has a paved Hiker/Biker Trail with boardwalks throughout the stream valley. From Valley Park Drive to Damascus Boulevard, remains undeveloped for recreation, but offers a natural environment to enjoy.

The 174-acre Lower Magruder Branch from Damascus Recreational Park south to Watkins Road protects the environmentally sensitive stream valley and remains undeveloped for active recreation as well. However, it’s the perfect spot for activities such as hiking and bird-watching.

Drinking water and restroom are available at Damascus Recreational Park April-October
