Surrounded by 26 acres of wooded park land, The Lodge at Little Seneca Creek is the perfect natural setting for all types of social gatherings as well as business meetings. Seneca Lodge is a handsome log cabin featuring a towering stone fireplace, cathedral ceilings, and a panoramic view. The large, exterior wooden decks offer your guests beautiful views of an open field and wooded backdrop.

Seneca Lodge is managed by the Maryland-National Capital Park and Planning Commission (M-NCPPC) and is located in Camp Seneca public park. The Lodge is utilized as an Event Center and is one of three Montgomery Parks Event Centers.

Open houses are held twice a year in the spring and winter and are a great time to tour the Lodge and meet local caterers and vendors. Planning a wedding, Mitzvah or Quinceanera? The Lodge is the perfect rustic setting for all types of social events! April to October, wedding ceremonies are typically held on the lawn followed by a tented cocktail hour, then a reception and dancing inside the Lodge. Events of 100 guests or more may find dancing more comfortable outside in the Tent. The extended stone patio behind the tent also features an outdoor fireplace where you can relax with your guests and roast marshmallows!* Make sure you take those must-have photos by the Little Seneca Creek which runs through the public parkland behind the Lodge.
Weddings and special events are wonderful at the Lodge November to March as well. Enjoy an indoor ceremony in front of a roaring fire, followed by a warm and intimate reception inside the Lodge. The exterior of the Lodge is beautifully decorated for the holiday season late November to early January, so having your event during that time is extra special.
Seneca Lodge is the perfect location for a private business or non-profit meeting, retreat, or company picnic! Attendees can relax between sessions on its decks and enjoy panoramic views. Seneca Lodge can be reserved for meetings and retreats Monday – Thursday between 8am and 6pm. Tables, chairs, wifi, screen and projector are included with rental fee. The 30-by-60-foot Seneca Lodge tent is a permanent structure April to October and is included with the rental of the Lodge during these months. Wedding ceremonies are often held on the lawn, followed by a tented cocktail hour and an indoor reception! It is also a great location for an outdoor graduation party, company picnic, or business retreat.

|CAPACITY||Maximum Capacity of the Seneca Lodge Park Event Center is 120 guests.
During winter months, when all event activities including ceremonies take place inside Seneca Lodge, the maximum capacity is 100 with a dance floor or 120 without a dance floor to ensure adequate event space for you and your guests.
|FLOOR PLANS||Floor plans are created by the Reservations Office as a result of your final walkthrough and are confirmed at least 30 days prior to your event.
|CATERING||Reservation holders may select any full service, licensed and insured caterer of their choice. All alcohol must be served by the drink, by a professional bartender (provided by the caterer).|
