Virtual Summer Camps

Montgomery Parks’ Summer Camps are Going Virtual!

The Montgomery Parks’ Nature Centers are bringing virtual summer camp fun to your home as the health and safety of our campers, their families, and our staff is our number one priority.

Due to the many regulations in place due to COVID-19, we are not able to provide our usual camp experience in person. In order to continue to engage campers and foster fun nature exploration we are offering Nature Camp Kits that include materials for fun activities and live sessions with a Park Naturalist.

Each day your camper will use their own camp kit filled with supplies for daily activities to engage nature exploration, experiments, and camp fun! Your camp kit also comes with daily live group sessions with a Park Naturalist. Live sessions include games, activities, encounters with nature, and time to share nature discoveries and creations with their fellow campers.

We are providing Early registration for previously registered campers June 17 & 18 and regular registration of the public on June 19th. The last day to register is the Thursday before the camp starts.

Each camp week comes with:

  • Pre-camp videoconference meeting to help prepare you and your camper for a week of fun and answer any questions you have.

  • A Nature Camp Kit with a camp themed activity and instructions for each day of the week.

  • Live small group video camp session through Microsoft TEAMS with a Park Naturalist each day. Sessions are designed to be 30-60 minutes depending on the age of the campers.

  • Access to your Park Naturalist each day during the Park Naturalist “Office Hours”. Use this time to call or videoconference your Park Naturalist to ask any burning nature questions you have or get extra support for activities in your kit.
