This project renovates and replaces the existing playground in Camp Seneca Special Park, located at 14500 Clopper Road, Boyds, MD. Additionally, an accessible route and handicapped parking space will be created adjacent to the existing picnic shelter as part of this project.
Last renovated in 1988, the existing playground will be removed and a completely new playground will be installed in its place. The new playground will be slightly larger than the existing one and will meet the needs of children from ages 2 to 12.
Construction is complete and the playground is open. Additional ADA improvements to the trail and picnic shelter are in the initial scoping phases.
Schedule for the calendar is currently being developed. Links to review meeting notes and presentation materials will be attached to each applicable calendar event as it is scheduled and completed.
