Can I visit a facility before I reserve it?
Yes! We encourage everyone to visit our facilities to make sure it will suit your needs before you make your reservation. For park activity buildings, you will need a key to gain access. You can pick up a key at the Silver Spring Park Permit Office at 9500 Brunett Avenue between 8:30am-3:00pm, Monday through Friday, or at the Germantown Park Permit Office at 12900 Middlebrook Road and Route 118, between 8:30am-2:00pm, Monday, Wednesday and Friday. All keys must be returned by 4:00pm the same day and to the same Park Permit Office location.
Are there lit basketball/tennis courts near permitted facilities?

What does my rental include?
The amenities included will vary depending on the type of facility you are renting and the park in which it is located. Please contact the Park Permit Office for more information or visit www.ParkPermits.org and view our comparison charts.
Do you provide tables and chairs for the park activity buildings?
Our Park Activity Buildings contain, on average, three to four simple wooden tables and fifty metal folding chairs.
What are the hours and fees for the carousel and miniature train rides at Cabin John or Wheaton Regional Park?

What parks have lakes?
Rock Creek Regional Park, Black Hill Regional Park, and Wheaton Regional Park all have lakes. Boat rentals are available at Rock Creek and Black Hill. Fishing is available at all three.
Do you offer facilities suitable for formal events?
We have a number of facilities that are excellent for formal events.
