Portable Restroom Sponsorship
Banners and signs recognizing the sponsors whose contributions enabled the Department to keep the portable toilets in the parks will be installed this week. Signs will be placed inside the doors of some portable toilets, and banners recognizing the larger sponsors will be placed at key locations within the parks with sponsored toilets.
Sponsors recognized by these signs and banners include A Step in Time Chimney Sweeps, WTOP, and the Long Branch Civic Association, among others.
You can still help. Montgomery Parks has already been approached by several community organizations that together will cover a significant portion of the cost of keeping these portable toilets.The Department of Parks continues to seek additional sponsors to help us cover the remaining cost and offset our operating expenses. Sponsors can promote their organization while providing an invaluable service to the thousands of park patrons who visit us every day.
