The parks 18 picnic shelters can accommodate a maximum of 40 people each and have 4 picnic tables and 1 grill.  Electricity is available at Shelters C, K, and O for and additional $30.

Directions

Take Georgia Avenue/MD 197 North to Norbeck Road/MD 28 and turn left.  At the first light turn right onto Muncaster Mill Road.  Turn left onto Avery Road and the Park entrance is on the right.  OR take from I-270, take the Shady Grove Road North Exit and bear right for the Redland Road Exit.  Follow Redland Road past Route 355 and turn right onto Needwood Road.  Pass Needwood Golf Course and turn right into the park entrance.
