Announcements

  • The Park Permit Offices in Silver Spring and Germantown will be CLOSED on Monday, February 8. They are anticipated to reopen on Tuesday, February 9. Please check here for updates. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. Permit holders are requested to contact the Park Permit Office on Tuesday, February 9, to reschedule your event or obtain a refund.
  • In order to book any permitted Park facility, you first need to open a ParkPASS account. Go to www.ParkPASS.org to sign up today! These accounts are FREE, easy to set up, and will make your future bookings quick and convenient. Plus, as a ParkPASS holder, you'll be able to book park facilities and register for classes and programs online 24/7 from the comfort of your home or office!
  • ATTENTION ATHLETIC FIELD USERS: All Park Athletic Fields are now closed through March 31. Park patrons are asked to stay off all grass park athletic fields through March 31. This annual closure of the grass fields allows for turf growth, rest and seasonal maintenance, and helps protect the condition of the fields for the Spring/Summer season.

    Please help us take care of our fields and respect the closure dates and our official inclement weather policy. Violations of this regulation are subject to a $100 fine and denial or revocation of future permits.

    For anyone interested in field play during this off-season period, permits are available year-round for the Blair High School synthetic turf field. Contact the Park Permit Office for more information.
