Project Description

This project renovates and replaces the existing playground in Seek Lane Neighborhood Park, located at 701 Seek Lane in Takoma Park.

The existing playground will be removed and a completely new playground will be installed in its place.  Local park playgrounds are typically 3,500 to 5,000 square feet in size and include playground equipment to meet the needs of children from ages 2 to 12.  Typical types of equipment include swings, play structures, and smaller freestanding pieces of equipment such as spring rockers or spinning elements.

Status/Project Update

A public meeting was held on November 9, 2010 to seek community input and ideas for the new playground. Click here to review the final playground layout and equipment.
