Project Awards

  • The Matthew Henson Trail project at Matthew Henson State Park received the County Engineers Association of Maryland Award in 2010 and the 2011 MRPA award for "Planning and Design with Environmental Protection in Mind." Also, the staff designer won the Maryland Quality Initiative Award of Excellence in 2011. Click here for more information.

  • The stream restoration project at Waverly-Schuylkill Neighborhood Park received two awards in 2010: The Maryland Recreation and Parks Association (MRPA) Award for "Planning and Design with Environmental Protection in Mind" and The County Engineers Association of Maryland Award.   • The restoration of the Seneca Stone Barn at Woodstock Equestrian Park, received the 2010 Montgomery County Executive's Award for Historic Preservation.
