Project Description

This project renovates and replaces the existing playground in John Haines Neighborhood Park, located at 25000 Oak Drive, Damascus, MD.

Background

The existing playground will be removed and a completely new playground will be installed in its place.  Local park playgrounds are typically 3,500 to 5,000 square feet in size and include playground equipment to meet the needs of children from ages 2 to 12.  Typical types of equipment include swings, play structures, and smaller freestanding pieces of equipment such as spring rockers or spinning elements.

Status/Project Update

Construction drawings for the playground are currently being developed. The final design is posted above. Click on the thumbnails for larger views.
