The Center was built in the early 1960's. It is owned by M-NCPPC but is operated by the Montgomery County Department of Recreation (301-929-5500). The Center is a multipurpose recreational facility that serves people of all ages with a wide variety of activities that promote health, physical fitness, learning, growth and opportunities for socializing. The facility features a gymnasium/multi-purpose room with a full size stage, social hall, weight/exercise room, art room, billiards room, game area, lounge area with TV, cable and VCR, and a snack area with vending machines. Each room in the Center is used for several different purposes, such as classes, meetings, sports league, and rentals.
