Olney Manor Skate Park is OPEN for the season!
Olney Manor Skate Park features 14,400 square feet of skateboarding fun. The 90-foot by 160-foot park features a 10-foot-deep bowl, Hubba ledge, steps with handrail, quarter pipes, Fun Box with flat rail, manual pad, and Pyramid Ledge. The Skate Park is open to skaters (skateboard and inline) of all skill levels, age 4 and up. Each month features special Parent & Child Skates (ages 11 and younger), Adult Skates, and Open Skates (all ages).
The 15-Visit, 30-Visit and 45-Visit "Frequent Skater" Passes may be purchased and used by both you and your guests. However, in order for guests to use your pass, you (the account holder) must be present.
Good news! The 15-Visit, 30-Visit and 45-Visit "Frequent Skater" Passes have no expiration date and are good from season to season until all visits are used.
Participant Waiver & Registration Form
A Participant Waiver and Registration Form must be completed and on file for each skater before entering the Skate Park. For skaters under the age of 18, a parent or guardian must be present at the time of registration. Please note: All skaters will need to fill out both forms, even if you previously filled out a form when Olney Manor Skate Park was operated by the Department of Recreation.
The Skate Park is available for private rentals when not in use by lessons on Saturdays and Sundays 9:00am-11:00am. The fee is $50 per hour. For more information or to book your event please fill out an application and contact Atuya Cornwell.
Learn or improve your skateboarding skills and have some xtreme fun, too! These camps and workshops are taught by professional instructors from American Inline Skating. Please visit www.ParkPASS.org for dates and registration information.
Extreme fun! This class is great for the beginning rider. Learn how to push, ride, tack turn (Tic Tac), kick turn, rock n roll, rock to fakie, ride fakie, and make a safe approach to ramps. Emphasis is skate park safety, increasing confidence and riding within ones ability. Class includes both instruction and skateboard games. No Pre-requisite. Instructor will work with various levels of beginners. Required Equipment: Skateboard, skateboard helmet, knee and elbow pads, and water; wrist guards recommended. Classes canceled due to inclement weather will be made up by adding an additional week. For instructional questions, please call 703-994-7617.
A week-long camp for kids 6-13 who want to learn or improve their skating skills. Learn how to push, ride, tack turn olly, kick flip, grind, stall, drop in, and get air in this camp. Visit www.ParkPASS.org to register or to learn more click here.
Get out your inline skates ("rollerblades") and get professional instruction at Olney Manor Skatepark. Learn how to gear up, stand up, skate, stop, turn, crossover, skate backwards and more.
