North Germantown Greenway Stream Valley Park

North Germantown Greenway Stream Valley Park is located at several pieces of land between I-270 and Blunt Road in Germantown.

Greenways have been defined as "significant natural corridors and open spaces — usually along rivers and streams and ridgelines — that provide for wildlife migration and biodiversity, nature study, and appropriate nature studies." They are also more simply defined as "linear parks."

The North Germantown Greenway Stream Valley Park meets both of these definitions. The 300-acre park stretches eastward from I-270 (where it crosses Little Seneca Creek) through Germantown to Blunt Road along the way it incorporates Ridge Road Recreation Park, now under construction.
