West of Old Georgetown Road in North Bethesda, Luxmanor Local Park serves the Luxmanor neighborhood. The park features a playground, softball field, baseball field, and a football/soccer field. The play area also has a picnic area. M-NCPPC acquired the park in 1961. The Luxmanor area has an interesting history; you can learn more about it at the Luxmanor Citizens Association website.
