Notice: Little Falls Parkway Bamboo Removal

A contractor for Montgomery Parks has begun work to remove bamboo along portions of the Little Falls Parkway. This work is being done to improve travel safety and visibility for motorists along the parkway, and is expected to be completed by January 1, 2014. The bamboo will be cut back approximately 20 feet from the edge of the roadway to reduce the likelihood of bamboo falling on the roadway or impeding traffic during inclement weather. Once these sections of bamboo have been removed, work will begin to establish a more suitable landscaping screen along Little Falls Parkway. Call 301-495-2595 for more information.
