Trainees complete a 60-hour hands-on course with expert instructors and fellow learners – studying natural Maryland Master Naturalist logohistory, environmental interpretation, and conservation stewardship. Training will take place at the nature center on alternating Fridays and Saturdays from 9am-4pm. Final certification comes with the completion of 40 hours of volunteer service at one of Montgomery Parks four nature centers. To be admitted to the training course, you must be at least 18 years old; submit an application; and be interviewed.

Download an application for the Fall session and submit to:
Geri Drymalski, MMN Coordinator
Brookside Nature Center
1400 Glenallan Ave.
Wheaton, MD 20902

Or, send by email to Geri.Drymalski@MontgomeryParks.org
Geri can also be reached at 301-962-1486
