Do you care about Maryland's natural resources? Learn more - and help others to care! Montgomery Parks is hosting Maryland Master Naturalist (MMN) training at Brookside Nature Center.

Trainees complete a 60-hour hands-on course with expert instructors and fellow learners – studying naturalhistory, environmental interpretation, and conservation stewardship. Training will take place at the nature center on alternating Fridays and Saturdays from 9am-4pm. Final certification comes with the completion of 40 hours of volunteer service at one of Montgomery Parks four nature centers. To be admitted to the training course, you must be at least 18 years old; submit an application; and be interviewed.
