Openings Still Exist for Monday, April 21 Register Today!
Most of the Tennis "Boot Days" scheduled during MCPS Spring Break are already filled, but if your child is off on Monday, April 21, come join us for a full day of tennis fun!
These one-day tennis events use games, personal instruction and drills to teach beginning/intermediate level players all the basics: forehand, backhand and overhead strokes, serves and volleys, footwork, scorekeeping, names and meanings of the lines, and more. It's great fun and great exercise, too! Please send a non-perishable lunch with your child. (P.S. We often schedule Tennis "Boot Days" for days when MCPS are not in session, so look for more of them in the fall!)
Cost: $40 per person per day • Time: 9am-5pm • Ages: 5-12
Location: Pauline Betz Addie Tennis/Cabin John & Wheaton Indoor Tennis Register Now/More Info

Come see how much fun tennis can be at tennis boot dayTennis Play Days!

10 and Under Tennis is a USTA program created just for kids, to make learning tennis fun from the very beginning. Like Pop Warner football and Little League baseball, 10 and Under Tennis equipment (bigger racquets, bigger and slower-moving balls) and courts are sized perfectly for kids, so that instead of being frustrated with oversized everything, they can hit the ball, keep it moving, and have fun right away! Join us at Wheaton Indoor Tennis or Pauline Betz Addie for a Tennis Play Day this spring and summer!

Tennis Play Days uses the 10 and Under Tennis program and gets kids playing actual matches in a friendly, non-threatening competitive atmosphere with no threat of elimination. There are two age groups: Red Ball Play Days for kids ages 6-8, and Orange Ball Play Days for kids 9 and 10. Racquets will be provided for kids who need them, and everyone gets a prize! Tennis Play Days are generally scheduled on Saturdays, run two hours, and the fee is just $12. Download the flyer below for more details, and sign up today at www.ParkPASS.org.
