*** Indoor Tennis Patrons, RATES for the Fall/Winter/Spring (2010-11 Season) will go into effect September 1, 2010. Registration for Fall indoor and outdoor tennis classes begins August 20, 2010.
Due to renovations of the outdoor tennis courts at Cabin John Regional Park, outdoor tennis classes scheduled from 5/24/10-10/21/10 will be held at Norwood Local Park, Court 3, located at 4700 Norwood Drive, Bethesda, Maryland 20815. To register online please visit www.ParkPass.org or walk-in registrations are always available at The Pauline Betz Addie Indoor Tennis Center.
The Pauline Betz Addie Tennis Center features six indoor tennis courts, a lounge area, and two locker rooms with showers for patrons' use. Professional on-site racquet restringing and regripping is also available. Restringing services provided by Albert Lee, stringer at Wimbledon, and the French, U.S. and Australian Open tournaments.

Who is Pauline Betz Addie?
Pauline Betz Addie is a Wimbledon champion (1946) and six-time Grand Slam winner. She helped to build the Cabin John Indoor Tennis Facility, and managed it for 20+ years.

Tennis Instruction
Tennis classes and special programs are available throughout the year for all skill levels and ages, and are taught by accredited USPTA and USPTR instructors. To view seasonal listings of group tennis lessons and sessions, and to register online, visit www.ParkPASS.org, or contact us directly.
Private lessons with accredited instructors are also available. Please call us at 301-765-8650 for more information and fees.
Spot Time Availability
You may reserve up to two hours of spot time per day, either as two bookings of one hour each, or one booking totaling two hours. All spot-time reservations begin on the hour.
Check out available court times at the center by going to www.ParkPASS.org, clicking on the tab labeled “Rental Info & Booking" at the top of the page, then clicking on any of the three options in the "Book Facility" section. Select the desired facility (in this case, "Pauline Betz Addie Tennis / Cabin John") and follow the prompts. A list of the available spot time for the next five days will appear.
How to Reserve Spot Time

To reserve spot time online, you'll need an active ParkPASS account--it's free, and easy to register.
To sign up for a new ParkPASS account, visit www.ParkPASS.org, click on the tab labeled “My Account” and select "Create New Account." Please allow up to 48 hours to receive your ParkPASS confirmation, account number and PIN number.
To reserve spot time, go to www.ParkPASS.org, and click on the tab labeled “Rental Info & Booking" at the top of the page. Then click on any of the three options in the "Book Facility" section. Select the desired facility (in this case, "Paulin Betz Addie Indoor Tennis") and follow the prompts. A list of the available spot time for the next five days will appear. Each "day" begins at midnight (12:00 a.m.)--so if you're a night owl, you can hop online at midnight and reserve a court for later that same day, or up to four days later. Visa and MasterCard are accepted on ParkPASS. - By Phone
Call us at 301-765-8650 any time between 6:00 AM and 11:00PM, Sun-Fri. and 6:00AM-- 8PM on Saturdays. We'll take your Visa or MasterCard payment over for the phone and confirm the reservation.

Spot Time Cancellations
If you cancel your spot time...
- ...at least 24 hours in advance of your reservation time, the amount paid for that spot time will be credited to your ParkPASS account. (refunds are less 20% if requesting the amount paid to be returned to credit card or check)
- ...less than 24 hours in advance of your reservation time, no credit will be given for the amount paid for that spot time.
Seasonal Court Time Lottery at Pauline Betz Addie Tennis Center
It's time for the 2010-2011 Pauline Betz Addie Tennis Center’s seasonal lottery! Our 32-week, seasonal court reservations are assigned through an annual lottery process. The 2010-2011 Indoor tennis season runs Thursday, September 16, 2010 through Wednesday, April 28, 2011. Please read all instructions, then complete your application thoroughly and legibly. If you require assistance, please call our office at 301-765-8650 and ask to speak to the manager. Your completed application and security deposit check must be received at the Pauline Betz Addie Tennis Center at 7801 Democracy Boulevard, Bethesda MD, 20817 by 9:00am on March 1, 2010. We cannot be responsible for the late arrival of mailed applications.

Tennis Parties
Saturday Night Round Robin Doubles Night at Wheaton Tennis
Test your tennis prowess, meet new people and have some fun at Wheaton Indoor Tennis! Join us on Saturdays from 8pm-midnight for Round Robin Doubles. You'll play up to 3 pro sets (8 games per set; winners move up a court, losers move down a court) each night. No partner's necessary; we'll match you up. For adult (18 & up) players at Level 3.0 and up. Cost: $20 per person. Register online at www.parkpass.org or calling Wheaton Indoor Tennis front desk. Please register at least 48 hours before the event starts.
Tennis Parties at Pauline Betz Addie
Rent the courts at Pauline Betz Addie Tennis Center for your private party! You may rent a block of 3 or 6 courts on selected Saturday nights year round (from 8 PM to midnight). For more information on fees and facility availability, please call us at 301-765-8650.

From I-495/Capital Beltway, take Exit 36 for MD Route 187, Old Georgetown Road. From Old Georgetown Road, make a left onto Democracy Blvd and continue to 7801 Democracy Blvd.
