Along with the many fine features in this popular park, both children and adults are entranced by a ride on the miniature train. The train is a replica of the1863 C.P. Huntington, a 4-2-4T steam locomotive purchased by the Southern Pacific Railroad and named in honor of Collis P. Huntington, President of the Southern Pacific Company. A party room at the Cabin John train station is available for rentals.

Cabin John's "Eye Spy" Halloween Train Rides Again!

Cabin John's "Eye Spy" Halloween Train features just enough "boo" power for the younger kids (ages 8 and under). As you ride through the dark woods on the train, kids can look to find the Halloween friends hiding along the way, and mark them off their "Eye Spy" cards.
- Free "Eye Spy" game cards and glow bracelets for the kids
- Halloween movies every night in the great outdoors
- Halloween games and other fun activities for the kids
Admission is just $6 per person; or $5 with a donation of canned food.
From 2:00-6:00pm, you may purchase tickets for a specific boarding time (on the half-hour) for that same evening at the Train Station each day. After 6:00pm, a limited supply of tickets will be available for purchase as well.

Tickets are $1.75 each (children age 2 and younger with a paying adult ride FREE), and are good for one ride on the miniature train.

Cabin John Train Party Room Rentals
The Party Room at the Cabin John Miniature Train is bigger and better than ever! It's perfect for your child’s next birthday party or family celebration.
The spacious Train Station Party Room party room features a fun train motif, and can accommodate up to 50 people.
Every Party Room rental includes:
- Use of tables, chairs, and a full-size refrigerator
- Complimentary train/carousel tickets
- Special photo opportunity for the birthday boy or girl on the locomotive engine (BYO camera)
- Special "No-Wait" priority seating on the train for your whole party!
Party Room Rental Rates (April - October)
The Party Room is available 7 days a week during the regular season. We're taking Party Room reservations now for rentals through October 3. The party room is not available for rental the remainder of October since we are holding our annual Eye Spy Halloween Event. Information on our winter rental program with discounted rental rates beginning in November will be posted soon!
$175 for a 2-hour time block in the Train Station Party Room
Choose from 3 time slots: 10am - Noon; 1 - 3pm; or 4 - 6pm
10 complimentary tickets included with each 2-hour rental (each ticket good for one train ride).
Additional tickets are available at $1.75 each, or get a book of 10 tickets for $15.75 and save!

Directions
From I-270 take Exit 1A and merge onto Old Georgetown Road/MD 187. Turn left onto Tuckerman Lane and continue to the park entrance.
