Summer Fun Ice Skating Camp (ages 6-12) is offered almost every week throughout the summer, and is great fun for kids who like to ice skate (or want to learn), but would enjoy a good mix of other fun activities throughout their day as well, including outdoor activities, arts and crafts, and more. Full- and Half-Day Camps and Extended Care are available.

**Ice Hockey Camp (ages 6-12) Offered June 24-28, July 15-19, and August 19-23 for kids who have successfully completed a Mighty Mites 2 or Hockey 1 class. BONUS Get a complimentary hockey jersey at Cabin John's Ice Hockey Camp!

Tennis & Ice Skating Camp (ages 8-13) Offered June 17-21, July 1-5 (4-day camp); July 29-August 2 (full - waitlist is open) and August 12-16. Your kids will get professional instruction in two great sports--tennis in the morning, and ice skating in the afternoon!

**NEW THIS YEAR! The Summer Fun Skating Camp is a full-day camp, but some of our camps are mornings-only. In response to requests last year from parents who need full-day camp options, we've come up with an option that will make you and your children smile. If your child is registered for our Ice Hockey Camp or any of the three Specialty Ice Skating Camps listed below, they can join our Summer Fun Ice Skating Camp in the afternoon for more fun and games! Pricing varies slightly depending on how long morning camp runs; see Ice Specialty Camp Afternoon FUN: Cabin John at ParkPASS.org for details and to register.

Skating Tips & Fees

  • To protect skaters from cold temperatures and injury from skate blades and rough ice in the event of falling, hats and gloves or mittens should be worn.
  • Skates should be one-half to one size smaller than the skater's street-shoe size. Skaters should wear one pair of thin socks or tights for maximum support. A skate should be unlaced before being put on, and then tightly replaced. If a skater's heel lifts up and down or there is inadequate ankle support, choose a smaller size ice skate. If toes feel cramped in the skate boot, get a larger size.
