Brookside Learning
Brookside Gardens offers fun and educational programs for the whole family throughout the year. Check out our Children's Programs to learn more about our kids workshops and family-friendly events like Children's Day, held annually in September. We also offer horticultural programs and guided tours for adult groups through our Adult Programs and Tours. Become absorbed in drawing and painting the natural beauty of plants through our School of Botanical Art & Illustration or learn more about environmental issues that affect your community through our annual Green Matters Symposium. Our Horticultural Reference Library is a great place to access horticultural books and periodicals; stop by the library with your gardening questions on Saturdays and Sundays and the Montgomery County Master Gardeners will do their best to answer them.

Check the calendar below for detailed program and event information by date. Register for our educational programs online through ParkPASS or by calling 301-962-1451. If you have difficulty using the calendar or prefer a printed copy, download a printable version (pdf 179kb) or contact Mark Richardson, Adult Education Programs Manager, by email or by phone at 301-962-1470 to request one be mailed to you. The calendar is interactive so that you can modify the view to your preference by clicking the tabs at the top right, but in order to register online for any of the programs or events listed, you must visit ParkPASS. If you don't already have a ParkPASS account, visit the sign in page to create one. Registration for Spring & Summer programs opens February 15!
