Polygonum perfoliatum, also known as Mile-a-minute, is a very invasive plantSpecial Project Weed Warriors

Special Project Weed Warrior event help citizens learn about and work on invasive plants in their parks without making the commitment to become full-fledged Certified Weed Warriors.

Special Project Weed Warrior events, under the supervision of a Natural Resources Stewardship staff member or a Weed Warrior Supervisor, will take place throughout the year — on weekends and weekdays — in small and large parks throughout Montgomery County.

Come out and help us and see if you enjoy more intensive non-native invasive work. We will give you a brief orientation at each worksite and then let you get to work.
