Oakley Cabin Tours

Oakley Cabin African American Museum & Park - 3610 Brookeville Road, Olney, MD 20832
Oakley Cabin is closed for the 2011 season effective, November 5. Please join next year for guided tours of the historic cabin on each second and fourth Saturday between April and October.

Hyattstown Mill Art Project

The mill is operated by the Hyattstown Mill Arts Project, which hosts rotating exhibits and live music performances in the Mill Gallery from April through October. The gallery is open weekends, holidays and for special events. Call 301-874-2452 for more information.

Josiah Henson Special Park (formerly called Riley Farm/"Uncle Tom's Cabin")

The house and cabin are open only for special occasions at this time. For more information, please call 301-650-4373 or visit JosiahHensonSite.org. The Montgomery County Planning Board held a Planning Board Work Session on December 2, 2010 where it approved/adopted the master plan. Kingsley Schoolhouse

The historic school located in the Little Bennett Regional Park is open only for special occasions at this time. For more information please contact Wendy Hanley at 301-528-3451.
